I am so glad you're here and I cant wait to meet you and your precious family!
It’s one of the greatest joys of my job to have the privilege of watching families grow, and this family has been such a special part of my journey. I’ve had the honor of photographing them for over a decade, and every time I get to work with them, it feels like a little slice of magic. From the first time I met them to now, seeing their kids grow, change, and develop into their own unique personalities has been such a blessing — and I can’t put into words how thankful I am to be the one who gets to capture these moments for them.
We did their session on their property is was beautiful, as always. The grass was lush, green and tall, making the perfect backdrop for the sun spilling across everything. It felt like the perfect day for this family, who loves to be outside enjoying nature. The kids were full of energy, running through the field, laughing, and just being kids — something I always try to capture in my photos. There’s nothing posed or forced in moments like that, just the pure, unfiltered joy of being together.
For me, the best part of family photography is capturing those raw, candid moments that tell the true story of a family. It’s the laughter that spills out when siblings play, the quiet exchanges between parents and their children, or the way little hands reach up for comfort or hold tight in love. These are the moments that matter — not because they’re perfect, but because they’re real. The messy hair, the dirt-streaked faces, the hugs, and even the little moments of frustration — it’s all part of what makes life beautiful. I’m always drawn to those small details, the ones that might seem insignificant in the moment but hold so much meaning when you look back at them years later.
This session felt like the culmination of everything I love about family photography. Watching the kids run and play, seeing the parents share a quiet moment of pride, and just being a part of their family’s life for a few hours was such a gift. Time flies, and I think it’s easy to forget how precious these small moments are until we look back. I’m beyond grateful that I get to be the one to capture these memories, not just for this family, but for every family I have the privilege of working with.
It’s not about getting the “perfect” photo — it’s about the real, beautiful moments that tell the story of who you are as a family. And that’s exactly what I try to do every time I step behind the camera.
