I am so glad you're here and I cant wait to meet you and your precious family!
Last summer, I had the absolute joy of photographing these three precious boys along the Boise River. There is something so special about capturing our kiddos just as they are in their different seasons of life and this session was no exception. From the moment the boys stepped into the shallow waters of the Boise River, it was clear that they were in their element. They ran, splashed, and giggled—each moment more pure than the last. I love photographing kiddos in these carefree moments. There’s no posing or forced smiles; it’s simply about being present with them, allowing them to play freely and enjoy the world around them. Literally just “let them be wild” and capturing the magic of it all. The raw joy of childhood is something every parent wants to hold on to, and that’s exactly what we did.
In all honesty, I hard time narrowing down the images for this blog post. There were so many good ones and this spot near the Boise river just lent so well to every aspect of this session. The light is perfection, all the logs and and trees there were able to play on and just off, it ,made for a picture perfect play ground. The sandy, shallow bank of the river made for the perfect ending to this session. as the Boys jumped in the water, so did I! We had so much fun as they ran, splashed and played. Truly, it was all such dream. I wish for every family shoot to have aspects of this session. The freedom of just letting kiddos play during pictures is unparalleled.
So to all the mommas out there, let your kiddos be wild. Let them play in the mud, run through the grass, splash in the river, and just be kids. When you capture those moments, you’ll find that you’re preserving more than just a photograph—you’re holding on to the essence of their childhood.
